— Discover the Ancient Art of Jagua!
So What Is Jagua, Anyway?
For over 2,500 years, the Shipibo Tribe of the Peruvian Amazon has used Jagua, a natural blueish dye from the Genipa Americana fruit, to create stunning body art. Now, you can experience this timeless tradition for yourself!
Unlike henna, Jagua stains the skin with a rich, dark tone that looks just like a real tattoo! Made from the unripe Huito fruit, its juice contains Genipin, a powerful natural staining agent that creates long-lasting, beautiful designs.

How does this work? Does it hurt?
Not at all! Your artist will apply a gel on top of your skin. It will be cool because we keep it refrigerated, and you then have to let it completely dry on your skin. That takes about an hour, so don’t smudge your design!
Then you simply wash it with warm soapy water. That’s it!
At first, it will look like nothing is happening. Then, over the next 3 days, the jagua will turn a dark blue and you will have a beautiful temporary tattoo that will last about 2 weeks!
✅ 100% natural & skin-safe
